Lions' share of the
points. |

Todays performance
was absolutely brilliant after a very even game, which either
team could have won. It was pleasing to get our first point from
only our second league game. |

We started the game
strongly carving out a number of chances without hitting the
back of the net. The defence put in a determined display during
the first half when called upon. Our luck changed towards the
end of the first half when Shaun picked up the ball on the half
way line and went on a mazy run. Once in the Pumas box striking
a great shot which the goalkeeper could not reach. 1-0! |

If the goal was good.
The joy on the pitch was mirrored by those on the sidelines.
Shaun must have been watching 'Match of the Day' recently as I
believe Lua Lua of Portsmouth would have been proud of that
celebration. |

Straight after the
restart the Pumas pushed forward and after retreating into our
own box and no one making a challenge the Pumas got their goal. |

We seem to be
improving with each game and although I would not wish to single
any player out from a great performance, Jack had a great game
and thoroughly deserved his 'man of the match' award. |

The game was played
in great spirit by both teams and result seemed about fair. |

Well done to all the players. |
