Lions drop out on
penalties |
|
|
The Lions dropped out
of the Tigers Cup on penalties after a hard fought game. |

Although both sides
had chances to get a goal during the game, the game was very
evenly contested and I do not believe it would have been fair on
either team to have lost as a draw seemed about fair. However,
we are talking about the cup here. |

We have now gone
three games without conceding a goal and there are probably not
many teams about who can say that. This is some achievement. As
a team we always seem to be strong defensively. (We do defend
very well as a team). The one thing we maybe need to consider is
looking to attack a little more as a team. This is something
that will will work on in training. |

It was pleasing to
see nearly everyone of you wanting to take a penalty and even
wanting to go first. |

|
|
After our dramatic
shoot-out, all we can learn is that we need to practice
penalties more in training. All the players will now know how
the England players feel after each Euro/World cup finals game! |

|
|
We have had a little
cup run and maybe next time when we play in a cup we might go
that next stage further. |

It was another
cracking game to be involved in and the luck was not with us at
the very end. |
