Forest's good
run of form came to a stuttering halt at Vange on Sunday, with
the team producing it's poorest performance of the season in a
surprise defeat. The writing was on the wall early as Forest
started very slowly and fell behind to a defensive mix-up which
saw the Vange centre forward presented with an open goal. |

Things went
from bad to worse when sloppy play in defense saw another goal
gifted and Glade went in at half time 2-0 down. |

The team
rallied in the second half and pulled one back through a good
finish by Rhys Hooper, things looked to be changing and Forest
went in search of the equaliser. Vange then scored another from
a set piece and yet again Forest had to haul themselves back
into the game. That they did when David Cooper scored with a
good finish and Vange looked like they were there for the
taking. |

Constant
pressure saw a good save made from the Vange keeper and to
compound the day totally, Steven Bourner crashed a shot against
the bar with minutes to go. |

Thomas
Sabberton showed grit and determination throughout and was
Glades best player on the day. |
|
| |
|
|
The final whistle
blew and the look on the faces of the Forest players said it
all. The team know they are capable of much more and if they are
to win the title this season consistency has to be shown. |
