Cooper Show does the Trick |
|
|
David Cooper
fired a stunning hat trick on Sunday as Forest got their season
well and truly off and running. The scoring started after 10
minutes when good work from Cooper saw the hard working Steven
Bourner score from close range. Cooper then added a second with
a run and shot and the ever lively Rhys Hooper added a third
with a lovely finish. Cooper then added another with a great
strike and the whistle blew with Forest a healthy 4 goals up.

The second half began
with Cooper scoring again with a low drilled effort of real
quality and Rhys Hooper capped a fine display with another super
effort. |

The best was saved
till last however, with James Adams, aka "Apple", running from
his own half and firing a delightful 20 yard curler into the top
corner. Vange then staged a mini fight back scoring two goals in
the last 7 minutes, but by then Forest were home and dry. Peter
Wild was imperious at the heart of the defence and was aided by
some slick passing from midfield by Jonathan Diment. |
