Forest Glade
only had themselves to blame for this defeat, with chance after
chance going begging and the Kingsborough keeper performing
miracles, the team suffered an unfortunate defeat on the opening
day of season. Things started brightly, with Forest going close
through Lee Mulreany. Then against the run of play Kingsborough
scored with a solo effort, only for the same player to do the
same again 5 minutes later. |

Forest then came out firing and
pulled one back through the impressive Callum O'shea with a well
taken goal after good work by man of the match David Cooper.
Forest then pushed for the equaliser but found the Kingsborough
keeper in stunning form. With 15 to go Forest found themselves
3-1 down, and though the Glade pushed hard, they couldn't find a
way through. The second half was more encouraging but one feels
if the team had applied the necessary drive and forceful
tackling in the first half this result would have been
different. |
