Early goal sets Tigers up for win

The match kicked off and immediately the Tigers went on the attack with a quick shot at goal from Daniel. The Tigers kept on the attack allowing Rhys to get behind the defence, crossing the ball into the Lions goalmouth to be put away by Luke. With only 1 minute 30 seconds on the clock the tone of the game was set.

The Tigers kept up the pressure over the next ten minutes which finally resulted in a goal from Daniel.

Deaneswood came back on the attack but a strong defensive line up of Josh and George B stopped any real attempts on goal.

The Tigers kicked off the second half and Deaneswood came out stronger and began putting the pressure on. Any chances of getting through to goal by Ross D, Luke and George D were quickly closed down by the Deaneswood defence.  There was more good defending from George B and Josh and towards the closing minutes of the match Daniel was pushed back to help defend the lead.

All the players put in an excellent performance to achieve a good win to take them 5th in the league with a game in hand over the next team who are only 1 point ahead.
