The FA Skills Program  

On Tuesday 8th January Forest Glade was visited by Paul Barry, a member of the FA Skills coaching team.  Paul is representing a national scheme started by the FA to improve football skills through schools and local clubs.  During the first hour of the visit, Paul coached a selection of Forest Glade U9/U10 players.  During the second hour, 15 of Forest Glade’s manager and coaches participated in a coach-the-coach session, again led by Paul.
 
The Essex County FA have six skills coaches that can be utilised by Essex football resources.  At Forest Glade, we propose to draw on this resource as much as possible.
