Forest Glade knocked out of cup by 10-man Concord

This match was an interesting lesson for the team, quite comprehensively beaten by Concord, two divisions above.  Even with Concord playing with 10 men, they fought with a great deal of passion and energy that Forest Glade couldn't match.  The game started fairly evenly, and to be fair to Forest Glade, there was a lot of activity at the Concord end of the pitch.  However, their defending was strong and most of the 9 goals scored by Concord came from a strong and fast counter-attack that tore through the Forest Glade midfield and defence.

Forest Glade could have played a lot better, and certainly towards the end of the game tended to give up on a game lost.  There were instances of good forward play and passing, plus some good defending against a very strong Concord attacking force, but it wasn't enough to trouble the away team, particularly during the second half.
