Performance of the Season |

|
A stunning
performance by the Forest Glade U14 team led to a well deserved
win away to Grovewood Sports. The team worked together all over
the pitch, and even with a couple of the key defenders missing,
Grovewood had few chances to really threaten John in goal.

|
Three great
goals from Matthew held the score at 3-0 until the final minute
of the game, when Forest just missed out on their first
clean-sheet of the season by an unlucky penalty given for
hand-ball in the box. Forest also had a fourth goal disallowed
for off-side, and it could have been more. |

|
Grovewood
held a high back line that was breached many times by Forest
Glade, and some excellent goalkeeping from the Grovewood keeper
prevented the Forest goal tally from being more. |

Overall an
extremely pleasing performance which could see Forest finish
well in the table if they can keep it up. |
