First Game of the Season  

The Under 7's Lions finally kicked off their season (of friendly exhibition matches) with a fine performance away to Trinity Youth Lions.

  
   

Forest led twice midway through both halves with strikes from James Dillion and a well taken penalty from Luke Mackie only to be pegged back on both occasions.

  
   

Everybody gave 100% and whilst riding our luck on a few occasions were unlucky not to come away with a win as every time we attacked we looked like we could add to our tally.

  
   

With weather conditions perfect for football both sets of boys produced a fair and entertaining game which both sets of supporters seemed to enjoy.

  
   

Considering the limited number of games played by the boys this was a great effort.
