Back to winning ways

  
After last week poor performance in the cup it was time to get our head down and back to winning ways.  

 

  
We started brightly and dominated the opening half but we lack the final finishing touches until the 35 minute when Joe Tregunno's cross found Criag Jones who dispatched from inside the 6 yard box. We failed to add to our tally and went in 1 up at half time.  
   
Second half started and once again we performed badly for the first 10 minutes and conceded an early goal from a set piece. This gave us a kick up the back side and once again we started to dominate. Chance after chance went begging. Joe Tregunno missing an open goal from 3 yards as well as hitting the bar from a header, it seemed as though we wouldn't get the break through.  
   
In the 70th minute a long throw from Josh Babington was met by Joe Tregunno and he found the net. Southminster began to push for an equaliser but never really threatened our goal. We broke away once again and this time Dom Rogan's cross was slotted away by Adam Swindells.
