Josh's "delicate area" starts the fight back

The CYFL U15s were away again on Sunday, this time to Great Danes. It proved to be a difficult test for the lads as they found themselves 1 nil down at half time, and we were pleased to be taking the slim deficit into the break, thanks to some excellent saves from Jack Mole in goal.

With the 2nd half, we hoped to take advantage of the slight slope to turn the game around. However although we started to dominate the possession, we found ourselves 2 nil down. It just seemed to be one of those days with shots going astray and any 2nd ball falling to their feet. To our credit, the lads kept battling and were rewarded when Josh Goddard chased a loose ball near their 18 yard box, not flinching as their goalkeeper approached and tried to clear his lines, only to find he'd hit his clearance straight into Josh's 'delicate area,' from there, the ball ricocheted into their net as Josh tried to follow the ball into the net whilst grabbing an area that caused him to fall over in pain lol. This gee'd the lads into a revival and Jack Norris once again found himself on the score sheet finishing with a header from a Ryan Dalby freekick. Jack got his 2nd and the winner slotting in from a neat pass through from Jamie.
