Barking Borough 'A'

Another game and another win!!! its becoming a habit ....

We were on top from kick off and at times played the ball around well. We were soon 1-0 up with a good through ball which Mark Russell latched onto and finished well for his first goal back from injury which started in the 1994-1995 season. This was quickly followed by our second from Stu Dyer who said he meant to chip the keeper from outside the box but we all saw it bobble up and he got lucky !!!!

After some superb build up play from Green all Grant Nicholls had to do was poke it in the empty net for the 3rd just before half time.

The second half was much the same as the first with us being on top and Barking unable to really give us any problems until Joey “Go on a run and lose it” Tregunno puts us on the back foot and they scored there only goal of the game. We sealed the game late on with a poacher's goal from Jamie Lawrence.

Not a great performance but again Forest get the points and we are now stretching our lead at the top of table. It was good to see some other names on the score sheet this week as it finally shows that  Forest Glade are not just a two man team !!!!!!!!
