Bancroft Reserves

Another good team performance from Forest Glade. We started the game well, a good few early chances, but with some poor finishing and Bancroft's goalkeeper making some excellent saves.

It was still 0-0 after the first 25 minutes. Aylett finally broke the dead lock with a good finish and it was 1-0 at the break with the defence and Alex Thraves doing well not to concede.

Second half similar to the first with us having plenty of the ball with Aylett, Green, Divers & Dyer all having chances to double our lead but again could not take them with some excellent saves from their keeper.

We doubled our lead with another good finish from Aylett quickly followed by our third from Green who finally found the net after missing chance after chance.

We started to run the game completely with Dyer and Nicholls being everywhere making tackle after tackle and good pass after good pass which lead to the 4th goal a nice finish from D. Archard.

A well deserved win with some good goals and an outstanding performance from the defence & keeper to keep a clean sheet.
