Forest needed to show the potential that we all know they have, and after 2 minutes a linking play through the middle ensured that the opportunity fell to Harry for a dream start. A carefully placed drive to the right of the goalmouth had the keeper stretching but to no avail.  1-0.

From there on Forest dominated the entire play. The occasional run by Shore was easily dispatched by a solid back line of Reece, Liam, Daniel and Daniel Schormans. As Forest continued the pressure, they began to pepper the Shore goalmouth with two shots rebounding off the upright.

Just when it looked like Forest had this half in their control, a break had Daniel and Liam chasing, a nice chip had Alex just get his fingers to the ball, but the power carried the ball just over his head.

The second half started as the first, all the play was at the Shore end with some fantastic runs by Alex B down the left side that was rewarded by an exquisite dipping shot straight into the top left corner. From then on Forest dug in to come away with a well deserved and first league win.
