After last
week’s resilient performance against the division leader,
Forest entered this game with a stable formation tested in
past weeks and one that showed promise. |
|
Right from
the kick off Forest dominated all the play; rarely did the
ball enter our half. Wave after wave of attacks lead to
Harry finding the back of the net after only 6 minutes. This
was quickly followed up by Thomas securing his first goal of
the season that eventually would leave him celebrating a
well-deserved hat trick. |
|
With
opportunities coming thick and fast, a determined effort
throughout the game by Robert was rewarded by his first of
the season as well as Reece scoring from a rebounded
clearance after a Forest corner. |
|
In
conclusion it was a dominating performance that had Alex in
goal with very little to do, a solid back four with Ryan,
Liam, Daniel S and Reece providing the base and very
determined control of the midfield by Jamie and Mathew. If
we can carry this forward into the rest of the season then
the long awaited Home games should bring us course for
optimism.
