Hard luck stories in football are ten a penny and this one is certainly one of them.

Forest dominated their "Division A" opponents from the start of this match, and how they lost this game will remain a mystery forever.

Glade played their best football of the season so far, with the whole team producing silky passing and quality play. A series of missed chances were punished by Castledon when they scored from a long clearance up field, but Glade hit back with a well taken Steven Bourner goal after good work by the ever dangerous David Cooper. 1-1 Half time.

The second half continued much like the first, with Forest dominating but not finding the net. Close efforts by Lee Mulreany, David Cooper, Steven Bourner and Jonathan Diment came and went, and just when it looked like it was a matter of time before the goal did come, Castledon scored on the break.

The Castledon keeper then made great saves from Bourner and in the last minute Jonathan Diment had one cleared off the line. It just wasn’t to be. If Glade continues to play like this however it will not be long before they are playing in a higher division.
