Forest Glade got off to their now usual slow start in Division C,
with an under par performance.
They got off to a bad start going 1-0 down to a soft goal inside 15
minutes. Glade rallied and scored a well worked goal when the team’s
best player on the day, Callum O'Shea chipped a lovely ball through
to Rhys Hooper who made no mistake from 12 yards.
Glade then hit the bar soon after through Jonathan Diment, but then
things started to swing. Another soft goal was followed by a killer
third just before half time, 3-1.
Although improved in the second half Glade continued to under
achieve, and fell 5-1 behind, before Rhys Hooper struck again just
before the end. As well as man of the match O'Shea, Hooper looked
dangerous throughout, and given the service would have surely gone
on to score more. |
Glade will need a much improved performance in their next game, they
are much better than this. |
