Deadly Finishing from Rampant Glade |
|
|
Forest
blasted another six goal super show against Elmwood on
Sunday to stun the opposition with some lethal finishing.
The goal glut began early when man of the match Lee
Mulreaney finished with deadly aplomb with just 5 minutes on
the clock. The second came soon after when Thomas Sabberton
won a header at the back that fell to Jonathan Diment, he
passed gloriously down the left wing to Lee Mulreaney who
crossed early. Steven Bourner ran onto the cross and headed
in for a quite magnificent team goal. Bourner then added
another before half time, 3-0. |
|
The second
half continued much like the first with Forest dominating.
The silky passing of Callum O'Shea providing most of the
link play, and the terror like tackling of captain Jack
Smith complimenting. |
|
4-0 was
soon upon us, this time Rhys Hooper finishing well from good
work by David Cooper. Cooper himself then scored a cracker
after another pass by Mulreaney. |
|
Another
candidate for goal of the season finished the game when
directly from a corner Lee Mulreaney volleyed spectacularly,
hooking across the keeper. |
|
The team
played well throughout, with smart play from back to front.
Form like this will see the team finish near the top three
if they continue in this vein of form. |
